I often find inspiration in my children — their creativity never ceases to amaze me. When my son was learning Bach’s Invention No. 8 , his piano teacher encouraged him to create a story for the piece. The story he came up with was that his lovie, Dino built a time-traveling machine and journeyed back to the Steampunk Era. Each time I listened to him play that melody, vivid images began to form in my mind — the hiss of steam, the hum of machinery, the gleam of brass and gears
