Our Creative Journey
After finishing my cat illustration, I realized the dogs deserved their own artwork too. Dogs have just as many unique personalities, expressions, and little quirks, so I wanted to create a companion piece that celebrated them in the same playful way.
I started drawing each dog one by one in Procreate, giving every character its own shape and charm. Just like the cat illustration, every dog is painted in two layers. I first apply a base color to establish the overall tone, then add a second layer with the visible colors, patterns, textures, and details. This two-layer process gives each dog its own personality while creating depth, richness, and harmony throughout the illustration.
What began as a simple idea to create a companion artwork gradually turned into a joyful collection of lovable dogs. I hope every time you look at this illustration, you discover a new favorite hidden among the crowd.
